Fellow NACE Members,
What a big boost in business thanks to the Super Bowl coming to South Florida this year. Many NACE members were seen on so many job sites for huge pre- and post Super Bowl events! For us, serving 6,000 people for coffee and 6,000 for chocolate was by far the best experience in my catering career!
Update on the Industry Holiday Party. KISS was the recipient of over $3,280.00 for the Broward Boys and Girls Club and the FIU Scholarship fund receive the same amount! Thank you to all of the wonderful NACE caterers who did such a fabulous job! It did not rain on our parade and everyone had a great time!
Our January meeting at the Sundy House was a huge kickoff for the New Year. Our guest speaker Eric Papp was very informative on GEN Y. We received great feedback from so many who attended! Thank you to the Sundy House for being gracious hosts with a spectacular display of food!
February brought us to the beautiful Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. Thank you to Marc Semple and his great staff! We presented our local awards and those winners will go on to NACE National to our July Conference in Austin, TX.
March; join us at the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort. April at The Westin Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale . May- there is no meeting in preparation for the Taste of NACE at Panache.....A Classic Party Rental. Remember, NACE meetings are always on the third Tuesday of the month. Mark your calendars.
Our membership drive starts in March. Get three new members to join and your next meeting is on us! NACE is stronger than it has ever been and we want to keep the momentum going! Don't keep us a secret. Spread the word! Keep track of who you get to join and we will give you a complimentary meeting.

Mark your calendars. This year the 2010 Education conference will be held in Austin, TX. The dates are July 25-28, 2010. The host hotel is the Hilton Austin, Downtown. Pre registration information will be coming soon. This is the opportunity to network nationally to promote your business, great education, and the opportunity to see that latest and greatest trends in our industry.
